Philomela is a 50-member descant choir based in Helsinki, aiming to push the boundaries of choral music. We seek to touch, surprise, and create positive change in the world through music. Our broad, ambitious, and constantly evolving repertoire features a diverse selection of leading contemporary Finnish composers. Most of the pieces we perform are either composed or arranged specifically for us – making Philomela's concerts unique and memorable experiences.
