Philomela is looking for ambitious and committed singers who are able to practice independently between rehearsals. We rehearse on Wednesdays on Bulevardi in Helsinki. To keep up, you'll need sight-reading skills and experience with multi-part singing.

We currently have openings especially for high sopranos and low altos, regardless of gender or age.

With Philomela, you'll also have the chance to compose and arrange music if that’s your passion. We actively seek funding for new music and collaborate regularly with renowned composers.

With us, you’ll sing in castles and galas, for grandmothers and at the Music Centre, on steamships and mountaintops. Or invent your own dream stage — Philomela’s in!
